Ringstead Bay and White Nothe - great Portland views

Starting at the South Down car park, we set off on a lovely day with great views across Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour towards Portland.

We visited White Nothe then down to Ringstead Bay, along the shingle beach where people were relaxing and swimming in the sea with the families playing on the natural sandbank which is just offshore at low tide.

We stopped at the little shop near the bay, some for ice creams and than back to the car before going off to the Smugglers Inn at Osmington Mills for a great lunch.
