Tyneham village walk, 27 February

41 of us set offup Gad Cliff to look at Kimmeridge in good weather but rain threatened.

We then dropped down into Wobarrow Bay where 35 of us set off up to Flowers Barrow, one of the steepest ascents on the coast. Some were more suprisedthan others quite how steep it gets! The other 6 went back to the caqr via the flat track up the valley.

However, all was well despite some heavy rain along the ridgeway but it had stopped by the time we got back to the car.

An excellent lucnh was had by all at the New Inn in Church Knowle afterwards.

The next walk is 27 March, the 'White Horse' walk at Osmington Mills from the Smugglers Inn.
