Dancing Ledge, Sunday11th

Although having been predicted as being very wet, it didn't happen and we had a great walk from Langton Matravers, along the Ridgeway and down to Dancing Ledge.

Although a little breezy, it was not a problem and we had great views along to Seacombe Cliffs and along towards Swanage whilst having the picturesque Nine Barrow Down and Ballard Down to the north.

We then moved inland, through Langton Matravers, giving great views across Swanage and Ballard Down in one direction and valley views up to Corfe Castle.

After the walk, we had an excellent lunch at Kingston Country Courtyard just along the road - cream teas, pasties and jacket potato were just some of the things on offer.

The next walk is Portland on 9 October.
