Dolphins spotted along the Jurassic Coast!

Our June walk was from Worth Matravers.

Initially, a quick walk through the village then  down to Winspit, one of the old main quarries along the coast, now closed.

Then further west along to St Alban's/St Aldhem's Head, the location of the Coastguard Lookout and St Aldhelm's Chapel. While walking from Winspit to here along the coast path, we spotted approx. 12 dolphins making their way east towards Anvil Point.

Moving further west, after the big dip of steps, we stopped at the services memorial garden for our lunch then a few hundred yards inland and back through the fields to the car par.

The next walk is an evening walk on The Isle of Purbeck on Friday 21 August, 6:15 start.
