Golden Cap walk

Another great day as we set off from Langdon Hill to visit the highest point on the South Coast of the UK.

It's a shady start in the great woods and then down past the National Trust offices and down to St Gabriels, a lovely NT holiday cottage.

We then walked past the ruins of the Chapel and up to Golden Cap itself giving great views right along the coast with Lyme Regis to the west and Seatown and beyond to the east.

We returned to the car and then onto Felicity's excellent Farm Shop and Café on the edge of Morcombelake.

The next walk is Sunday 11 September - 11:45 for 12. Dancing Ledge and great views of Corfe Castle and Swanage Steam Railway await us as well as lunch/tea at Kingston Country Courtyard afterwards.

Swanage is also hosting the Folk Festival, Swanage Railway Steam Gala and the Vintage Car Rally that weekend. So much to do so come and join us.
