Tyneham, Wobarrow Bay,and Flowers Barrow

The blue sky was just breaking through as I left Tyneham, down through the woods and down to Wobarrow Bay.

As I arrived at the bay, Mupe Bay looked really clear and there were quite a few yachts and boats on the water for 9:15 in the morning.

At the top of Flowers Barrow, you get a great view both east and west - Tynaham Cap, Swyre Head, Emmett's Hill and St Alban's/St Aldhelm's head to the east and Portland to the west.

The walk along the top and back down to Tyneham was very easy and peaceful. I met an artist who was doing a commissioned piece of work in Tynaham village for a book.

Worth Matravers circular, Sunday 5 April

What a great walk!

We parked in the official car park just before the famous Square and Compass, went left past it and turned right into the first field and out over East Man.

We went down to Winspit, along to St Alban's/St Aldhelm's Head, down and up the next dip, along Emmet's Hill and turned right after the MOD memorial garden and back into Worth.

The ducks were having a good time in the pond and Worth looked great.

Regards.
